Furnace Creek

This area consists of two regions, Furnace Creek Inn and Furnace Creek Ranch. Both areas are located an a natural fresh water spring. Furnace Creek Inn was built in the 1920’s as an escape for the Hollywood elite and the rich and famous throughout the world. The Inn is decorated in period motif and has a garden that will knock your socks off. While here it is difficult to believe that you are in the hottest and one of the most arid places in North America. Furnace Creek Ranch is located just a bit further up the road. There is a store, places to eat, museums, motel and lots of golf.
