Stuff: I'm currently involved in the development of a world-class Marine Interpretive Centre
for the State of South Australia. We are the only State without a facility of this kind and
my letter to the Major Developments Panel has met with a favourable response from both the
developer and government agencies. While it is fair to say that we exist at the edge of some
of the most diverse marine life in the world, this is a fact that is lost on most of our
population and nearly all of our public representatives. The single most visited tourism
precinct in our capital city is undergoing redevelopment and I'm trying to incorporate
sufficient educational/conservation focussed infrastructure to make a Marine Interpretive
Centre a "must see" for all tourists and school aged children.
This Email facility is set up for other purposes it seems but I'm hopeful that it will be a
trigger to have someone Email me about my vision for South Australia and organise a personal
contact while I'm in Califonia for the Christmas/New Year period and January 2000. Please
